The 7th of July Simon Ahlström, a troubadour and musician from Sweden, released a new single about the climate.

The song, which is available in both Swedish and English , is about the climate and those who demonstrate to get those in power to speed up the process of acting for the climate crisis. 

• I wrote the song after hearing about Greta Thunberg on the news, her struggle for what she is fighting for and what has come out of her act fascinates me – to say the least, and that there is now a global movement that is fighting tirelessly to get those in power to change direction in climate policy so we can have a planet to  pass it on to future generations, says Simon. 

The song was first written in Swedish (2019) and during the Corona pandemic, Simon translated the song into English and recorded it. 

• The climate crisis is not just something that affects Sweden, our entire planet is affected by it. That’s why I translated the song into English. 

Since the song was released, it has been played via digital music platforms in for instance Sweden, Italy, USA and UK.
